You will learn about...

Module 1 - Mindset Matters

Adapting new ways of thinking is foundational when looking at new ways of working. Our thoughts and our mindset is the one thing we can control and have choice over.

In this module we deep dive into how our mindset works, the process of our thoughts, feelings and actions and the 3 facets of self awareness and how emotional intelligence can drive this.

We look at strategies to control our inner dialogue and the how to adopt a bursting mindset that will serve us well when dealing with change. We will uncover and flip our limiting beliefs and supercharge the beliefs that empower us.

Module 2 - Purpose, Commitment & Motivation

When we shift our physical work environment we need to also realign why we do what we do, our purpose. This often changes as our ways of working change and we need to look at our role, our team and our organisations purpose.

We explore what commitment means and where we sit in the ”Commitment Quadrant”.  High accountability and self belief are the two essential factors that drive commitment and understanding where you and your team sit provides direction of what needs to change. We also look at what lights you up,  your motivators, and ways to satisfy these preferences when working remotely.

Module 3 - Review & Renew Habits

As James Clear says: Focus on being 1% better everyday, habits are the compound interest of self-improvement.

It’s a good idea to review and renew the habits we have especially when now working from a remote environment.

Habits are a routine of behavior, that is repeated and often carried out at a subconscious level.

When looking at new ways of working we need to review even our smallest habits and either change them, create new ones or break them.

In this module we will explore the four stages of a habit, review your current habits and understand the triggers and rewards. We will look at building new remote working habits and supercharge these.

Module 4 - New Ways Of Working

Self leadership is vital in any role and we need to take stock on the individual things we can control when making a change.

Remote work can make us vulnerable to working long hours, working at an intense pace and having to deal with work-home interference.

We explore and expand new ways of working such as adjusting your expectations of self and others. We look at reviewing boundaries, what we do and don’t stand for. That way we can have control over creating appropriate boundaries and ensuring they set us up for success when working remotely. A common challenge when working off site is time management and we uncover the 8 key dimensions to managing self in order to manage time, headspace and energy.

Module 5 - Shifting the Work Environment

Now that we have focused on the psychological shift to working remotely we now delve into the physical shift. Working remotely is known to lift productivity and this is due to less interruptions, distractions and timely commutes.

Working remotely  allows you to set your office environment up to suit the way you like to work. Our physical surrounds have a direct impact on how we think, feel and act and planning this out is a priority. In this module we run through tips and tools to set up your remote office and make the space work for you. We look at how to create a space that inspires and ways to departmentalise tasks to complete them in different locations to increase productivity. We also cover the topic of considering others, especially when working from home.

Module 6 - Technology and Tools

Technology can boost connection, collaboration and productivity if utilised correctly. Going from working onsite to remotely can stifle collaboration and connection so learning and utilsing technology can really bridge this gap.

In this module we navigate through key technologies and their purpose, a framework to assess and leverage what you and your team need and the focus on visual technology to build collaboration.

Reports show that 89% of businesses using video conferencing feel more connected and up to 94% say it increases productivity. We also share top tips to maximise technologies.

Module 7 - Communicating Remotely

Clear and concise communication is vital in any role and is an essential skill to build and maintain strong working relationships, both internally and externally with customers and suppliers.

Remote work leads to little physical interaction so the ways in which you communicate need to be top of mind.

In this module we explore how to implement and leverage communication when working remotely. We will look at what communication is and the key barriers that can get in then way.

The modes in which we communicate are also important to understand and we uncover when and how to tap into these modes and the different ways to do this. Tools and technology need to be leveraged to amplify the way in which we communicate and build rapport. The key is to mix up it up!

Module 8 - Connect to collaborate

Connection is all about being linked and associated with someone or something. It is a core human need. When we go from working in an office environment where we’re physically working with others to working remotely, this changes the way we connect and collaborate with others. As much as working remotely can increase productivity, research shows that it can lower collaboration so this must be a priority.

Research shows that human connection makes us more productive happy and healthy. We need to tap into relationships, the situations we encounter and ourselves. In this module will explore the pillars to self lead, whole connection and tips to connect to yourself and to others. We will share some connection hacks and provide a coaching framework to enable you to implement 1:1 and group coaching to connect.
